Spools of Art

A medium of art I can say I've never seen before. These are done using handing spools of thread with a clear glass sphere placed in frong that compresses and flips the image.

I always find the artist's explanations on this site to be a bit pomous, but this one certainly is neat!

Discovered this the other day, based on a graphic novel series: Chessboxing There's something about the brute physicality of the boxing, then having to push past that and actually be able to think coherently enough to play chess. Brilliant.
